Hospice Volunteer Education
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 7, 9, 14, and 16 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the University of Akron-Lakewood Campus, 14725 Detroit Avenue, Room 109, Lakewood, OH 44107. Hospice of the Western Reserve welcomes anyone 13 years of age or older interested in making a difference in the lives of others to attend this training. Most volunteers interested in working with patients attend all four sessions while those interested in non patient areas and teen volunteers only attend the April 7 session. RSVP required. Contact the Volunteer Team at 800-707-8922 (6881). Classes are also offered at other times and sites throughout the year.
