American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walk Cleveland

When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Walks, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.
Thanks to Walkers and Donors, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.

Quilters' Legacy of Lakewood presents "A Gem of a Show"
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
These are not your ordinary grandmothers quilts. Featuring modern, traditional and ward winning quilts. There will be vendors, raffle quilt and raffle baskets. Along with Westside Art Quilters Exhibit.
Quilters' Legacy service projects include lap quilts for wheelchair bound veterans, pillowcase for women/children shelters and isolette quilts for the NICU at Fairview Hospital.

"3rd Annual First Responders Appreciation Night"...Heroes Honoring Heroes
5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Members of the American Legion Post 572 in Parma Ohio, along with posts throughout Cuyahoga County and local business ownere, join together to show their appreciation and support of our First Responders. All first Responders are treated to a night of dining, dancing, entertainment, awards, dignitaries and special guests, as Veterans "pick up the tab". All First Responders and a guest attend this event absolutely FREE. This is a semi formal/uniform dress event. Mix and Mingle cocktail hour at 5pm, opening ceremony and dinner at 6pm. Dancing to the music of "The Edge" until ??.
