Connecting Communities Business Expo & Taste Of The Towns

The Parma Area Chamber of Commerce will join forces with the Garfield Heights Chamber to host the “Connecting Communities” Business Expo & Taste of the Towns on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holiday Inn on Rockside Road in Independence.

The Expo will feature local business and exhibitors along with area restaurants who will be offering samples of their food, and of course there will be some great door-prizes from the vendors. This year’s event is sponsored by Arendas Insurance, Axelrod Buick/GMC, CertaPro Painters, Cuyahoga Community College - Western Campus, Marymount Hospital, Philomena’s Restaurant, Renewal by Andersen, and Valpak of Cleveland.

We will showcase the vendors from 2:00 – 5:00pm and we’ve also added a Mega Mixer from 5:00pm – 7:00pm to give businesses a chance to network. Our last Mega Mixer was very successful. We had over 300 guests in attendance and Chambers from over 20 different cities were represented. It was a great chance for people to meet and talk with others they might not otherwise connect with.

One of the many benefits we offer our members is not only networking opportunities but also affordable marketing and promotional venues to showcase their businesses. When we were approached with the idea of partnering with the Garfield Heights Chamber by their Executive Director Mary Stamler, and their Expo chairperson Pauline Ruminski, we knew it was a win-win situation for both Chambers, our members and the community as a whole.
