Existential Poetry

For a brief moment I sit                                   

Underneath the crabapple tree 

Contemplating all that I

Know what life means to me.

Yearning for what I want and more

Omnipotence overcomes me

Underneath the crabapple tree

Valiantly and bravely I endure

All of the obstacles and hurdles

Life throws in front of me.

Realizing what I always know.

I am & will always be

Know thyself & know it well.
