Parma Mayor Honors Citizen, Business Of The Month

Manager Andrew Leszczynsky of Avalon Jewelers, receives his award from Mayor DeGeeter and Councilwoman Debbie Lime.

The staff of Holy Family Home & Hospice was honored as Citizens of the Month for January. The nomination, written by Ward Six Councilman Larry Napoli, states that "the staff has taken it upon themselves to go the extra mile to make sure that the families and patients are treated lovingly and with compassion." Members of the Holy Family staff came to City Council on to accept their award. Also honored was Avalon Jewelers, as the Mayor's Business of the Month for January. Congratulations to Manager Andrew Leszczynsky, who was mentioned in six nominations the business received. Andrew was noted for his considerable involvement in Parma school and community events and for his efforts on behalf of Parma's Ukrainian community. He also has 25 years of experience in the jewelry business and is a certified diamontologist.
