I Believe

Anything parents can do to minimize procrastination in the children will reap great dividends in their later years.

As the family weakens, so does the vertical transmission of family values. This promotes the horizontal transmission of values of the culture.

Blamers point the finger at someone else or thing for their own problems. It is so popular because it temporarily liberates them but does not get to the root of the problem.

Exercise will keep our energy level high, strengthen our immunity, improve our mood, and reduce the effects of negative stress, to name a few benefits.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I should do, and with the help of God, I will do.

If we would use the power that God gives us to see ourselves as others see us, it would free us from many a blunder and foolish notion.

Those who choose a moral code of ethics grounded in Scripture will be well equipped to make all the right moral choices life will ever require.

Treat people as they are and they will remain that way. Treat them as they could be and they may become as they could be.

We should not allow other people or things to determine our frame of mind. Each person is personally responsible for this.

We will gradually adopt the habits, attitudes, and mannerisms of the people with whom we spend a lot of time.

Self-reflection is always a good exercise. What I believe is a work in progress, not limited to these statements and subject to change. What do YOU believe?
