I Believe

All lines of reasoning point toward the God of the Bible as the one, true God.

Although feelings fluctuate, consequences last forever.

Any couple can birth a child, but it takes Godly parents to rear Godly children.

Attitude keeps circumstances in proper perspective.

Be a positive example in word, faith, purity, and actions.

Being a servant, among other things, includes teamwork, understanding, and an attitude of love.

Coveting and longing for something that is not ours produces much discontentment.

God always offers us that which is best for us.

God comes to all who seek Him with all their heart and soul and mind.

God knows and cares about us regardless of how we feel about ourselves.

If our minds are not mostly at ease, our bodies become diseased.

If we can change our situation, we should do it; if we cannot change it, then we should change ourselves.

It takes patience, perseverance, and quality time to raise responsible children.

Kindness is the most desirable trait a person can have.

Letting the past totally dominate the present and future is contrary to sensible living.

Life is constantly moving us in and out of “life-changing” places and relationships.

May we mend our ways, encourage one another, agree to disagree with one another, and live in peace.

Our challenge is to learn to “trust and obey” God’s Word.

Our main mission in life is to be God’s witnesses.

Overly demanding parents do not take into consideration the thoughts, feelings, and needs of their children.

People who drift to the far right or far left usually end up in the ditch.

Salvation will bring about good works.

Take hold of the stress in life or it will take hold of you.

The best way to reach others is to love them.

We all struggle with hypocrisy, saying one thing and meaning another.

We need to break through the barrier that hinders forgiveness.

When people “resist the truth,” they will “believe a lie.”

When people say, “It’s not the money, it’s the principle,” it is usually the money.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, the world is still a beautiful place.

Self-reflection is always a good exercise. What I believe is a work in progress, not limited to these statements and subject to change. What do YOU believe?
