MyCom Youth Corner

The MyCom Youth Council hosted a Back to School Ice Cream Party on Tuesday, August 15 from 2:00-4:00 at the Parma Library on Powers Blvd. Youth learned about the MyCom youth initiative and the benefits of having a youth council for the youth and for the community.  They participated in a planning exercise related to a mini-community project, played a variety of group games, learned about the MyCom programs MyMedia and FLOW (Future Leaders of the World), enjoyed custom ice cream sundaes and then played spoons to top off the afternoon.

Our youth council will be participating in Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 21, 2017. This is a national day of community service focused on improving the lives of others. Any youth (grades 8-12) interested in participating in the MyCom youth council for the Tri-City area (Parma, Parma Heights and Seven Hills) and Make a Difference Day please contact Jean Micklewright at 440-479-4122 or
