All Saints Episcopal Church Community Report

All Saints Episcopal Church, located on West Ridgewood Drive at the boundary between Parma and Parma Heights, celebrated its forty-fifth monthly food distribution on Saturday, May 19th. It was cloudy and a few raindrops fell on our thirty volunteers and our hundreds of guests. We distributed more than 13,100 pounds of perishable food to 249 households (inhabited by 630 residents) in 23 northeast Ohio zip codes. Seniors lived in 67% of the households. Since September 2014 All Saints has provided nutritious, fresh foods to low-income residents of our community free of charge, thanks to our long partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. In April of this year we surpassed a half million pounds of food distributed.

Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, June 16th at 9:00 am. Our partner Rise in Love will join us to distribute nonperishable food and household supplies in addition to the perishable food we provide each month. Rise in Love also offers customized plans of education and employment assistance for qualified individuals and families.

We are thrilled to be able to serve our community in this meaningful way. Thank you for your support.
