AARP Tax Aide - Free Tax Preparation
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program will be getting underway again this year starting the first week in February and ending the 15th of April 2022. This IRS-supported FREE tax service is offered on a non-discriminatory basis without consideration of race, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation. We give special attention to those with low or moderate incomes and/or aged 60 and older. Taxpayers do NOT have to be retired or a member of AARP.

We are opening fewer sites than in past years due to a reduced number of volunteers. Appointments will be taken starting the first week (second week for Brook Park Methodist) of January 2022. Availability of appointments is subject to the status of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Please bring to your appointments copies of your Federal and Ohio 2020 and 2019 returns; 2021 forms W-2, 1099, and 1098; social security cards for all persons on your tax return; a picture ID (i.e., a valid driver’s license) for you and your spouse, and any IRS or Ohio Tax correspondence. We anticipate using a drop-off process to prepare returns, necessitating a return visit to the site to finalize them.
