Veterans Memorial Monument Rededication

On Saturday, September 24 the American Legion Post 703 held a re-dedication for the Veterans Memorial monument behind the Parma Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library. The original monument was dedicated on July 4, 1969.

Thanks to the American Legion Post 703 for their time and efforts to raise the funds for the new plaque, along with the City of Parma Heights staff to prep the space. The number of hours and commitment are a true testament to those that the monument honors.

Parma Heights is very proud of the rich history and strong ties to the military. The Veterans Memorial monument celebrates and honors those that have served. We take pride in remembering those who have passed before for us and pay homage to those that dedicate their time and service to the country.
