Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer Training Series

Are you looking for a way to help individuals in your community? We serve palliative and hospice care patients and families wherever they call home and have a wide range of volunteer opportunities to fit your talents, interests, and schedule. There are many virtual and face-to-face opportunities available at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, the Medina Inpatient Unit and Life’s Treasures Thrift Shop in Medina, and the David Simpson Hospice House and our Headquarters office in Cleveland. We usually hold two virtual training series each month. Upcoming training sessions are scheduled on Mondays & Wednesdays— July 18, 20, 25, 27 from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays— July 5, 7, 12, 14 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Registration for a specific series is contingent on meeting pre-registration requirements which include completing an application, criminal background check, and pre-screening interview. KIDS SUMMER SHAKE-UP
Power Up for Victory
9:20 PM - 12:00 PM
It's Free! For kids in grades 1-6. July 18-22, 2022 from 9:20 am to noon. Weather permitting the entire event will be outside on the Church grounds. Activities will include Victory Arena, Do-athalon, Power Play, Frisbee Challenge, and Relay Riot. "Hear it" Bible Impact and "Live It" Small Groups. Sign your child up online at www.phbaptist.org
For additional information call the church at 440-886-6100. Online registration ends on July 12. On the first day of the event you can sign your child up at the Church. Kids, don's wear your best attire, you could get messy! Parents- Snacks will be provided, however, if your child has food allergies, you must supply your own snacks. Contact the church in writing if your child cannot be photographed in the various activities and events.
