King of the Moondoggers: Alan Freed & the Birth of Rock n Roll

The Parma Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library will host King of the Moondoggers: Alan Freed & the Birth of Rock n Roll on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 7:00-7:50 p.m. Historian Dennis R. Sutcliffe will talk about the journey of Alan Freed to Cleveland where Rock n Roll was born. Dance at the Moondog Coronation Ball! Mr. Sutcliffe will include audio clips of ten early Rock n Roll favorites during his presentation. In-person program. Registration required.
