Donata Rahne - is a local artist, member of Greenbriar Art League and Parma Area Fine Arts Council. She creates posters for the plays at the Cassidy Theatre, 6200 Pearl Rd. in Parma heights. The play in October was Cinderella. Posters are available for purchase. Enjoy great theatre right in your neighborhood. 

Prama Artspace Gallery – Dark Effect: Anthology of a Migratory Poem opened Friday October 20th. The artist Rafael Valdivieso Troya was born in Ecuador and now living in Cleveland. He’s done murals at various locations throughout the Cleveland area. He’s created papier mache sculptures for Parade the Circle. The paintings and papier mache at this exhibit are large and bold, and are based on his experience as an immigrant artist straddling two cultures. Show closes on November 19th. 

Parma Art Center – Grand Opening, 7335 Ridge Rd., Sunday, November 12th, 11am to2pm. Program for the Grand Opening includes a member show with hanging artwork, and small hand crafted item vendor tables. Free admission, open to the public. Includes free refreshments and entertainment. Large venue, lots of parking. New class schedule in 2024. Come see what they have to offer.

Sean Mabin – is currently showing at Lakeland College’s The Skull & Skeleton In Art VIII: Folk Art to Pop Culture, in Kirtland Ohio. September 21 to November 3. Next up is Doubting Thomas Gallery in Tremont, 856 Jefferson. Show opens November 10. Last but not least, Pinwheel Gallery’s Group Show – To Drive The Cold Winter Away, November 24 to January 1, 2024. Pinwheel is located at 2019 Broadview Rd.
