Early History Of Cleveland And Northeast Ohio

The Parma Heights Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library will host Early History of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C. Local historian John C. Schepley will present a fascinating history of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio before 1900 using photographs, illustrations and maps. Learn about the earliest inhabitants from Paleo Native Americans to the first European settlers including Harry Coubly. Discover how the canals and railroads built during the Industrial Revolution contributed to the progress of manufacturing industries. Registration required.
