Parma Heights Welcomes New Female Officer
On Wednesday, June 26 joined by Chief Czack, we welcomed Katelyn Romanowski to the Parma Heights Police Department. Before her swearing in ceremony, Katelyn graduated in 2019 from Olmsted Falls High School. During her time at Olmsted Falls, Katelyn attended Polaris Career Center enrolled in the law enforcement program. Katleyn went onto attend Bowling Green State University and received her under graduate degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Investigations. She will received her Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University this August. As part of the program, Katelyn will be attending the Cleveland Heights Police Academy from July to December. She is the first female hired since Chief Czack was sworn in as an officer in 1999. “I’m excited to work within such a tight knit community as Parma Heights,” said Katelyn.
