Seven Hills Farmers Market Tenth Summer Season Is Here!

The Seven Hills Farmers Market (SHFM) opens Thursday, July 11, 4:00- 7:00 PM and continues every Thursday through October 3, 2024 The SHFM has been dedicated to supporting local food systems increasing consumer access to fresh, healthy foods for our community. This approach has boosted marketing opportunities for the farmers and small businesses that make up the market. As a producers-only market, participation is for farmers who sell what they grow or raise on their farm, and for local producers and artisans who hand-craft their specialty products.

Now in its tenth season, SHFM customers will soon be able to buy delicious local produce. Available items will include berries, broccoli, garlic, herbs, onions and tomatoes. August abundance showcases beets, cantaloupes, green beans, melons, peaches, and sweet corn. In September look for apples, blackberries, grapes, pears, potatoes, and pumpkins. Remember to ask your vendor about the best way to keep their items fresh the longest, they are happy to share their knowledge with you! Know your famer, know your food. Round out your produce purchases with a variety of other items.  The SHFM has vendors with tables full of amazing chocolate, baklava, CBD, locally roasted coffee, cookies, fresh breads, honey, jam, jerky, nut and poppyseed rolls, pastries, pierogies, soap and more. Come visit us and please bring your reusable bags. Cash is the preferred form of payment, but some vendors do take credit cards.

The SHFM has a weekly food truck and live musical entertainment too. Spend time outdoors, shop for local food, listen to music and boost your mood! The SHFM is a recipe for well-being.
