The Parma Area Senior Veterans Group
Another Succesful trip was completed on 6/11/24 at 8:30am when 20 women and 4 men were transported in two buses to Victoria's Restaurant for Breakfast, then on to Burke Lakefront Airport to tour the International Women's Air & Space Museum. Everything went as planned and everyone had a great time. There was a lot of advantages at this facility which made it easier for Seniors. (1-Both buses Drove right up to the Front Entrance. (2-The Entire Museum is on the First Floor, no steps. (3-We were the only large group. (4-We did a self guided tour of the exhibits so people could move at their own pace and spend as much time or less at the exhibits of their interest. (5-The Director of the Museum made sure that the Gift Shop was open and answered any questions that people had. The weather was great. We were back at the Senior Center about 1:45pm. This was the Second Bus trip that we took since the Senior Veterans Group was formed in February 2023 by (Administrator, Tony Kessler). Our first tour was September 2023 when we visited The Ohio Veteran Memorial Park in Clinton, Ohio.
For more information about joining this great group of Senior Veterans, Spouses, Caretakers, and supporters, call Administrator, Tony Kessler for details. I can tell you from first hand experience that this is a group that is well organized with the needs of Seniors as a top priority. Come and see for yourself. As a general rule we meet the last Wednesday of each month at the the Donna Smallwood Senior Center in Parma at 1:00pm. This month it will be held at the last Tuesday of the month. Please come and see for yourself.
