Reflecting On Our Progress In Ohio’s Seventh District

From my first day in Congress, my highest priority has been serving the people of Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District by advocating for the needs of our region and helping make the federal government work better for the people of Northeast Ohio.

Americans deserve transparency from their elected officials and expect them to be accountable. I am committed to sharing the details of my work and have enjoyed meeting with hundreds of constituents to talk about our shared priorities.

My team and I have had the privilege of attending more than 750 events across the 7th District, 125 of them right here in Cuyahoga County. These have included visits to Parma City Schools' Career and Technical Education programs, tours of facilities like Parma University Hospitals, and involvement in critical infrastructure initiatives such as securing funding for the Craigleigh Drive Septic Abatement Project.

I've also been honored to join community gatherings like the Parma Memorial Day event, We Are Parma Proud Picnic, and the Parma Winterfest. Additionally, regular meetings with elected officials such as Parma Heights Mayor Marie Gallo and council members ensure that our efforts, both locally and in Washington D.C., are effectively aligned to benefit our constituents. Our success in the past 18 months is evidenced by the 18 town halls I have hosted or at which I have been a guest across the district, including here in Parma, to foster direct dialogue with constituents.

Additionally, my office has facilitated over 220 U.S. Capitol tours for district visitors, helped over 450 constituents in scheduling tours in D.C., and provided over 520 flags to constituents as symbols of our shared pride in community and country.

Making the federal government work better for my constituents remains a top priority. My team has closed over 910 federal cases that constituents had with federal agencies, resulting in over $5 million returned to constituents that they were owed by the federal government.

My legislative agenda has been focused on expanding opportunities for career and technical education, advocating for NASA Glenn, supporting our veterans, and advocating for our farmers and agriculture producers. I am the original sponsor of 8 bills representing Ohio's needs. This includes The American Workforce Act, which would implement a voucher for businesses to train workers in high-demand job skills.

I deeply value the trust placed in me by the residents of Northeast Ohio, and it's a privilege to work toward initiatives that strengthen our communities. If you need assistance or want to learn more about my work, please don't hesitate to reach out to my office at (330) 661-6654 or visit my website at maxmiller.house.gov. I am here to serve you.

Max Miller

Congressman Max Miller is serving in his first term as the United States Representative for Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District.

Growing up in Northeast Ohio, Miller learned the value of hard work and the importance of the trades. The Congressman is committed to building up the next generation of Americans by prioritizing career and technical education programs as an alternative to a traditional 4-year degree.

Miller was elected by his fellow freshman Republican members to serve on the Steering Committee, which assigns committee membership for members of the Republican conference.

Miller sits on the House Committee on Science, Space & Technology. He serves as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Environment. He also serves on the Subcommittee on Energy and the Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight. The Congressman is committed to supporting the NASA Glenn Research Center and ensuring Americans continue to benefit from cutting-edge scientific and technological advancements.

Miller also serves on the House Agriculture Committee. He sits on the Subcommittee on Nutrition, Foreign Agriculture, and Horticulture and the Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development. Along with his agriculture advisory council, Miller works to put forward common-sense policies that are good for our agribusiness industry and consumers.

As one of only two Jewish Republicans in Congress, Congressman Miller is a loud voice in calling out antisemitism and hate on college campuses and across the country.

Miller served as a senior advisor to President Donald Trump and spent six years in the Marine Corps Reserves. He, his wife Emily, and their baby daughter Ruth live in Rocky River.
