Satisfying Your Cravings Indian Style!

On this quiet strip of York Road where Friendly's Ice Cream restaurant used to be is now the home to Honest restaurant which serves an unapologetically vegan tasting menu that is stunning in its depth, scope, and simplicity. Whether you’re an Indian food lover or you don’t know tikka from tamarind, I invite you to discover flavor-packed, from-scratch Indian cuisine served the way you like to eat: fast, fresh, and better-for-you.

I've visited Honest restaurant 3 times and now have 3 favorites. They include: Vegetable kolhapuri which is a spicy dish with some of the main ingredients being dried coconut, red chilis, coriander, and cumin seeds. It was mildly hot which was perfect. An aromatic and flavorful mixed vegetable curry. The Daband Dosa is a crispy rice batter packed with stir-fried vegetables, spices, special sauces, and can be topped with a combination of your choice of fresh garden vegetables: Cilantro, Onion, Bell Pepper, Carrot, Tomato, Green Peas, Chili Pepper.  And the Naan is incredible!   Unbleached oven baked flat-bread topped with cilantro. Several flavor choices: Plain, Garlic, Onion, Chili Cheese, or Butter.

Honest Restaurant is one of the best vegan restaurants and probably the healthiest. There are far worse places a vegetable can end up than in the kitchen at Honest restaurant, and maybe no place better in the entire state. Honest Restaurant, 6400 York Road, Parma Heights!
