Sean Mabin has had some of his work recently published in The Hand Magazine. The Hand is dedicated to “alternative” and historic photograph processes and all types of printmaking. Sean has been exploring various alternative photography techniques the last couple of years. Both Sean and his wife, Angie Reali Mabin are in the Rust Belt Photo Collective’s Exhibition, titled Indirect Reality Do You See Me? at the Beachwood Community Center Art Gallery, 25325 Fairmount Blvd, which runs through July 7th.
Sue Holick-Bade, is on display at Rust Belt Photo Collective’s Exhibition in the Indirect Reality Do You See Me?; Torch & Rings; Marco, Polo, Devo – Photographic Paper on display at Beachwood Community Center Art Gallery, 25325 Fairmount Blvd until July 7th. She’s also in the Women’s Art League Exhibition - 3Media+ . Her Church By The Fjord a Faux Stained Glass piece on display at Weathervane Playhouse Gallery has sold. The gallery is at 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron.
Gary Nass, is on display at Frontdoor Gallery, 3838 Brecksville Rd in Richfield.
Prama Artspace Gallery has closed. Owner Sean Mabin would like to thank everyone who participated and supported the shows and events held at the gallery, the artists, the creators, the entertainers, and the attendees. It said it was a wonderful experience and he enjoyed every minute of it.
Michelle Behal, President of Parma Area Arts, and owner/operator of Bear Tracks Art, is one of the numerous handcraft vendors at The Rift Shop, 8125 Columbia Rd in Olmsted Falls. Michelle specializes in Pyrography or wood burning. She’ll be in Olmsted Falls at Walk About Wednesday at Grand Pacific Popcorn & Sweets July 9th from 5:30 to 8 weather permitting. On Saturday July 19th from 12:30 to 5:30 pm she’ll be in Parma Heights for the Summer Mini Market at Thee Tree House. 6269 Pearl Rd. On July 12th and July 26th she’ll be at Market In The Park in downtown Vermillion from noon to 3 pm.
Farm Art Day – Stearns Homestead, 6975 Ridge Rd, Saturday, July 12th from 11 am to 2 pm. Bring your art supplies, easel, chair etc. and set up to create. Free event, no need to register, just show up.
Parma Coloring Books – The Parma Area Arts has created an Early Edition Coloring & Activity Book celebrating the City of Parma’s Bicentennial in 2026. This coloring book has 40 pages of artwork, on quality paper, each created by local artists of all things Parma. It’s a great tribute to the city we love. There’s something for everyone, children, teens and adults. It’s available at the Parma Recreation Department, 7335 Ridge Rd., for $10. Makes a great gift or memento.
